Project file

Since the early days MapWindow uses a project file to hold all layers and its properties.
Over the years several versions have been made and all versions are still supported.
If you open a project file (*.mwprj) in Notepad you'll see it is not really human readable and it holds some duplicate content.

I want to suggest we think of a new and efficient project file, preferable and XML that can be validates using a XSD file.
I believe some work already has been made to read and write project files using the ocx. We should continue that path, that will allow custom developers to use project files as well.

We should also look at the project schema DotSpatial is using, it is preferable to use their format (if possible) so we can easily transfer datasets.
